In October of 2020, the multitalented @Gretchen.draws initiated a very fun series of drawing prompts, featuring an artist’s original character (their “O.C.”). Many folks seemed to enjoy the fact that, unlike some other daily drawing prompt lists, this one gave artists the chance to celebrate and promote their own characters.
For Day 17, Drew F. Lee of @incandescensecomics drew Audrey in a stark, high-contrast style.
Looking back on the event, Gretchen muses: “What I thought would just be a goofy whim to make some drawing prompts turned into this incredible team effort among a bunch of diverse and talented artists from all over the comics spectrum.”
